Blue Tears is mixed media with collage. I built up layers of colours and used a poring of electric blue paint to form tears around her eyes. I used collage for the eyes, nose mouth and head dress, painting over theses as the painting progressed. The head dress was made from fingers which I then outlined in black paint. This is a beautifully rendered painting and the colours are outstanding. 
It is oil, acrylic and collage on MDF Board, the size is 40.5 x 40.5cm
